Serve your visitors in their own language. With Obelisk you offer your website in multiple languages — this site itself exists fully in Dutch and English. Every language gets its own menu, footer and pages, so the translation is right everywhere, down to the buttons.

Never duplicate or mismatched content

Lists such as the knowledge base and the blocks overview automatically show only the content in the page's language. Dutch and English articles are linked as each other's translation; search engines receive that link automatically (hreflang), so Google visitors land on the right language version straight away. The 404 page exists per language too.

Switch with one click

The language button automatically shows all available languages of the site — add a third language later and it appears by itself. The visitor switches with one click and keeps reading in the chosen language.

More than translated text alone

Translating loose pieces of text is the easy part; the pitfall is in the details: a language switcher that links to the wrong page, or a 404 that only appears in Dutch for an English visitor. Obelisk handles those details automatically, so a multilingual site genuinely feels complete in every language — not just the main pages, but also the knowledge base and the blocks overview.

Good for international findability

Search engines prefer to show visitors the language version that fits them. With the automatic hreflang link — see also SEO & structured data — you prevent your Dutch and English pages from competing with each other in Google, and the right version shows up for the right visitor.

The language button below is live — the same one as in the top-right menu. Click NL and you read this site in Dutch:
